The Tuning Equipment
We utilize the best equipment and personnel available to tune your high performance vehicle.
Modern Muscle uses the latest dyno from DynoJet, the 224xLC. Features of this dynamometer include:
- Capability to measure up to 2000 rwhp and 200mph
- Eddy current load absorber allows the tuner to simulate real world conditions for all of his tuning needs
- Automatic conditions measurement for correction factors
- 4 channel 0-5v logging capability for operating parameters like boost, fuel pressure, EGT, etc.

The Personnel
Our tuner has tuned thousands of high performance vehicles over the last 18 years. His tuning expertise began with tuning the popular GM – LS platform. Since then, he has expanded his talents to all domestic V8 platforms and all styles of power making. Being the shops head engine builder / designer and engineer really helps bring the mechanical and design expertise into the tuning capabilities of the shop. Only the latest, most proven tuning techniques are employed at modern muscle. We can tune any power adder, and have thousands of hours of experience with each one.

Modern Muscle supports most domestic gasoline V8 (not diesel) RWD, AWD, 4wd vehicles. If there is any question about your specific application, please contact us and ask about support for your vehicle.

Carburetor Tuning Price
All carbureted tunes are naturally aspirated (NA), add $100 to the tune price for Forced Induction and $150 for Nitrous.
Additional Charges for Carburetor Tuning
- Cleaning or replacing needle and seat assembly
- Replacing venturi body to base plate gasket
- Cleaning out clogged ports
- Repair or replace base plate do to wear
- Changing distributer advance springs, or blocks
- Replacing cap and rotor
